City Camp is very proud of the outstanding group of people who form the City Camp staff. The City Camp Director, Program Director, Counselors, Assistant Counselors and Support Staff offer years of experience in children’s education and expertise in everything from urban design to baking cookies. Most importantly, City Camp staff are dedicated to providing a safe, caring environment, and helping children appreciate and respect cities through fun, positive, educational urban experiences.

The excellent quality of the City Camp experience is also achieved by the small size of each age-based group and low camper-to-staff ratios. City Camp’s average of 7 campers for each staff person for all age groups exceeds American Camping Association standards for day camps, offering campers the attention they need at all times.

City Camp staff are extremely talented, highly qualified people who love to share the excitement of urban life with children. If you would like more information about becoming part of the City Camp staff, please send a cover letter and resume to info@citycamp.net.

Tim Alley, the Founder and Director of City Camp, has Master’s Degrees in Environmental Education and Urban Design, and more than twenty years of experience working with children in school, after school, and summer programs.
